Race report pending (Janet!), but here are some memories from the day (some of the memories are fonder than others...

GOOD MORNING! Janet and Lorraine return from registration...I have already been here for 90 minutes at this point. I have to start sleeping better. It is bad juju when you get to the race before the promoter and the registration folks....

Below is Heidi's skin suit. She had to text Kris (WTF??!!??) after seeing that the skin suit is a long sleeve, I thought it might make a good blog entry. Okay, I was wrong.

Heidi didn't arrive to the race too long after I did. I felt better that someone else wakes up too early on race day!

Hey, let's go do a lap for a warm-up! Sure, we have plenty of time....except we had to hammer way too hard for a warm-up, in order to get to our start on time. It was still a good plan, it helped us to plan our route through the mine field that was the dirt section.

Look at these smiles! Wow, I don't even think they had Starbucks cups in their hands. Oh, this was before the race.

Teamie Elizabeth, waiting to watch the finish of the 1,2,3 Women's race before getting ready for her 3,4 race (I hope you put the hurt on 'em girlfriend!).

Christina B, showing off her pretty legs (this didn't happen today, but apparently wasn't going to stop her from racing today, despite a pretty significant limp).

Solo winner of the Women's 1,2,3 race, LSV rider Susannah Matson (I probably misspelled that, sorry)

Field sprint for 2nd place - Kate Flore taking it, and I think that is Leslie J behind her, and Janet right there too!

Okay, I was holding the camera, so obviously the race wasn't ideal for me - but it wasn't bad either. My back folded in the 3rd lap, so I called it a day. It was a great ride, while it lasted!
